The Youth Guarantee Scheme • Funded by the European Social Fund (ESF). • Core

The Youth Guarantee Scheme • Funded by the European Social Fund (ESF). • Core initiatives are designed to provide assistive and preventive measures. • Aims to provide young people who are not in education, employment or training (NEETs) with opportunities for personal and professional development and success. • Facilitates transition from education to gainful employment. • Improving quality of life and social integration.

SEC Revision Classes • The project funds the salaries of Teachers and Officers in

SEC Revision Classes • The project funds the salaries of Teachers and Officers in Charge/Coordinators to provide revision classes, which are: – Free of charge to students; – Available in English, Maltese, Maths, Physics and Biology. • To ensure that young people continue on their educational path.

Essential Teacher Documentation - 4 • All teachers need to list the correct number of hours worked, and sign all the attendance sheets. The number of preparation hours and lesson hours have to match.

 • The preventive classes will start towards the end of July, and continue

• The preventive classes will start towards the end of July, and continue throughout August (5 weeks). • Classes will take place at the following centres: - The National Sport School in Pembroke, San Ġorġ Preca College (Liceo) in Hamrun, MCAST in Paola and Gozo College Secondary School in Victoria, Gozo.

 • There will be two lesson cycles: Mon/Wed/Fri and/or Tues/Thurs/Sat with three lesson

As specified in the application, teachers cannot opt to teach in the afternoon ONLY.
