Ergogenic aids The group of substances, products or regimes that can be manipulated to achieve the ultimate aim of improved performance. Athletes use ergogenic aids, some legal, some illegal, despite the potential risks and consequences. The WADA’s mission is to lead a collaborative movement for doping-free sport – however it is a growing problem, achieving high media attention.
