Ø A focal point of competence and knowledge on EU subjects within a given HEIs Ø It gathers expertise and competences of highlevel experts (including JM Chairs /Module coordinators) to develop synergies between disciplines in EU studies, create joint transnational activities and links with HEIs in other countries Ø They must reach out to students from faculties not normally dealing with EU issues as well as to policy makers, civil servants, organised civil society and general public • Develop a strategic 3 -year annual plan with a wide range of activities • Lead research activities in specific EU subjects • Develop update and complement the current courses and curricula on EU studies • Enhance debate about the EU, where possible in partnership with local stakeholders and/or EU Representations in MS and EU Delegations • Systematic publication of the results of research activities Eligibility criteria ü ü Erasmus+ ü HEI established in any country of the world HEIs in Programme Countries must hold a valid ECHE not required for participation HEIs in Partner Countries. Their aim is to undertake projects that have a multinational rather than a national dimension. • • Gather and promote information and results on high level research and teaching on EU studies Enhance cooperation between different universities throughout Europe and around the world Foster cooperation and create a high knowledge exchange platform with public actors and the Commission services on highly relevant EU subjects.
