About the Erasmus+ Programme § Erasmus offers an enriched study experience and an exposure to different cultures § Funded by European Commission, via the HEA § Private Health Insurance - compulsory: Cover for medical and repatriation costs
Erasmus+ at IADT § Partners across Europe (40+): Belgium, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, UK § All programmes have Erasmus partners except Applied Psychology § WHO? Students in year 2 or 3
Erasmus+ at IADT - Study § Study stay: 1 term / semester or full academic year § Language of Tuition: English in most cases, but not always! § ECTS (credits): 30 ECTS if out for 1 term 60 ECTS if out for a full academic year
Erasmus+ Funding - Study § IADT applies for funding to the EU in January 2019 for 2019/2020 § Erasmus Study Grant: € 230 or € 280 per month, depending on the destination country § Not enough funding to cover the demand? Possible to go with no Erasmus grant
Erasmus+ at IADT - Traineeships § Traineeship stay: Min 2 months – Max 12 months § ECTS (credits): Programme teams to decide on number of ECTS to be awarded for your time abroad § ALSO: traineeship during the summer or within 12 months of completing your studies (no ECTS awarded – recorded on diploma supplement)

Your Finances § Registration fees only paid at IADT § Keep your SUSI grant / social welfare payments § Extra funding (approx. € 100 per month) – students with disability / medical condition / learning difficulties (back up documentation + disclosure required)

Download and fill in IADT Application Form Application Deadline for 2019/2020: 8 th December - Art | Entrepreneurship | Arts Management 15 th January - all other programmes 2. Talk to Programme Co-ordinator about your plans 3. Submit application for approval to: - Dr Catherine Rossiter (Entrepreneurship | Arts Management) - Elena Somoza (all other programmes)
Erasmus+ Application Process 4. Once approved by IADT, apply to college abroad (April/May): - Application made online, in most cases - Portfolio submission for art, design, film and media programmes 5. Offered a place? Inform Erasmus Office at IADT Considerable amount of paperwork to be prepared by Erasmus Office before your departure!
