● Our day starts at 8: 35 am and school ends at 3: 15 pm ● We have 5 periods per day, each period is a lesson, a private study or a free period. Average day ● In private studies we have time to do our own individual work towards our subjects, such as revision and research. This can be done in the library or study rooms within the 6 th form block. ● Free periods give us time to relax and chill out in the common rooms.

Charity Week In December, we did a week full of fun activities for charity. We raised £ 5, 000 which was split between two fantastic charities.

Diss Town Diss is a small market town in Norfolk, England, with a population of 7, 572. It is home to the Mere, one of the deepest natural inland lakes in the country set within lush green parkland, as well as fine examples of Georgian architecture, and the stunning Parish Church of St Mary the Virgin overlooking the town centre.

Diss High School has 1, 165 pupils aged between 11 and 18 and is a mixed sex school. Notable former pupils include footballers Matthew Upson and Declan Rudd. The school puts on musical productions every year, including We Will Rock You (2015), Disco Inferno (2016) and the upcoming School Of Rock, based on the movie starring Jack Black. Each year the school stages a week full of fun events for charity, including a Drag Show and Teacher Karaoke!

Diss Market A traditional market is held at Diss Market Place every Friday from 09: 30 until 15: 00 and the Diss Farmer’s Market comes to town on the second Saturday of each month from 09: 00 until 13: 00.
