Matthew 6: 33 NLT Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.

1 Peter 4: 10 NIV Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.

1 Peter 4: 11 NIV If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.

1 Galatians 6: 1 -3 MSG Live creatively, friends. If someone falls into sin, forgivingly restore him, saving your critical comments for yourself. You might be needing forgiveness before the day’s out. Stoop down and reach out to those who are oppressed. Share their burdens, and so complete Christ’s law. If you think you are too good for that, you are badly deceived.

1 Galatians 6: 4 -5 MSG Make a careful exploration of who you are and the work you have been given, and then sink yourself into that. Don’t be impressed with yourself. Don’t compare yourself with others. Each of you must take responsibility for doing the creative best you can with your own life.

1 Galatians 6: 6 MSG Be very sure now, you who have been trained to a self-sufficient maturity, that you enter into a generous common life with those who have trained you, sharing all the good things that you have and experience.

1 Galatians 6: 7 -8 MSG Don’t be misled: No one makes a fool of God. What a person plants, he will harvest. The person who plants selfishness, ignoring the needs of others—ignoring God!—harvests a crop of weeds. All he’ll have to show for his life is weeds! But the one who plants in response to God, letting God’s Spirit do the growth work in him, harvests a crop of real life, eternal life.

Questions to consider: who am I? What does God say? What is God’s opinion of me? What passion / heart has God given me? What bothers me? What stirs me up? Do I get caught up with pride? Do I compare myself with others? Do I take on my God given responsibility or do I back away from it?

Questions to consider: Lord God, what have you anointed me to do? what is my God given responsibility? what is your call on my life? What do you want me to be intentional about, to invest my life, myself in? I don't just want to carry on doing what I do. Lord I want to know your word, your calling, confirming your yes and amen, well at least if it feels good to us and the holy spirit. ✝

Ephesians 2: 10 NLT For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things (works) he planned for us long ago.

Romans 12: 6 -7 NLT In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you. 7 If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well.

Romans 12: 8 NLT If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly.
