E-PG PATHSHALA Intro. . � e-PG Pathshala web portal and mobile app were launched on 7 th November 2015. � It acts as a gateway for all courses at post graduate level. � Its an initiative of the MHRD, which provides high quality curriculam based interactive e content in various subjects. � MHRD, under its NME-ICT , has allocated funds to the UGC for development of e-content in 71 subjects at post graduate level. � The e-content is freely accessible by way of e-learning system management maintained at the INFLIBNET Centre.

Aims The main purpose of e-PG Pathshala is to develop holistic e-content for post graduate students with an aim to benefit the learners beyond syllabi. To develop e-content in all post graduate courses drawing expertise from subject experts of Colleges, Universities and R&D laboratories. To ensure availability of e-content by using different modes of delivery to impart informal and formal education. To accelerate the use of e-contents among the student and scholarly community. To make openly available the e-contents and accessible by SCORMCompliant repository in digital form maintained at the INFLIBNET Centre (Shareable Content Object Reference Model)

After selecting the module , this window appears before us with three boxes E Text Learn More And Self Learning The highlighted ones is e text with green color background , give us the module e text in pdf format.

Learn more : it gives us information about glossary, source of information and description, bibliography record, references and further readings etc about the topic selected in module

Self learning: it bring the vedio format material as per your module before you , a lecture by scholar or assistant professor of a reputed institute or university and you can share this vedio directly on Facebook , Twitter and You. Tube.

Benefits to users The students and teachers can use this e-content as an Open Educational Resource (OER) or as resource material in a Flipped Classroom model where, in contrast to the conventional classroom teaching, the students watch the video lecture/study material at home and classroom is used for discussions and critical thinking including discussion/problem solving and assignments with the help of teachers and peers. Teachers can use this portal for up keeping and updating their subject knowledge which will surely enhance their knowledge in their respective subjects.
