Information System – Role of ARSO • ARSO objectives: – To provide high-quality environmental data, analyses and expert foundations for decision-making; – To ensure greater general safety and to improve procedures for informing the public prior to unsafe situations in the environment; – To provide effective and early information to the broadest circle of people about the environment and environmental issues; – ARSO information system contains 11/18 data sets specified by the Environmental Protection ACT.
