Environmental Awareness Environmental awareness envisions the increasing of awareness and understanding of the environment through educa tion. Most of our population is not aware of our finite resources and how quickly they are being used up. By its very definition “awareness” means “having knowledge or cognizance”. Our main goal is to increase awareness because that is the only way to develop a more sustainable world. Accordingly, all environmental awareness must begin with education.
