Entry Requirements • Entry Requirements: Grade 6 in GCSE Biology/Grade 6 -6 in Combined Sciences • To study two Science subjects at A level you require at least one Grade 7 from one of the subjects.
Why study A level Biology? • Biology is all about how the world around us is interlinked and you will study processes that are fundamental to lots of different life forms. • Extends from the GCSE Biology content • Whether you decide to take Biology further and pursue a scientific degree or not, in completing the course you will have gained many transferrable skills like logical thinking, problem solving and working as a team. • The latter will be particularly apparent as you complete the 12 required practicals on the course, receiving a practical endorsement to use for university applications etc.
