Executive Summary Background Daleel Petroleum has been investing remarkably in ICV initiatives. Part of these initiatives is running programmes directed towards supporting SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises). Our Solution We have developed a customised SME Development Programme directed towards enhancing the leadership skills of SMEs’ owners. This programme is centered around the human factor as a key success factor. The programme focuses on the entrepreneur's mindset, awareness of oneself and others, people management practices, and how best to achieve business success by capitalising on people as a key asset. Interventions
Half Day Safari Half Day with candidates to introduce the programme content and take candidates’ consent. Prior to the programme delivery, a half day engaging induction will be arranged to : • Do an Ice-Breaker. • Introduce the programme and expectations. • Gather specific needs to further tailor-make the programme.
Personality Assessment Industrial Psychology research confirms that success of business leaders is dependent on “Self-awareness”. Our recommended Personal Styles Questionnaire Tool is an untimed selfreport questionnaire which measures how an individual deals with others, tasks and emotions. It also highlights the risk areas of their behavior and some blind spots. Areas we assess to increase self-awareness Selfawareness Leadership starts with one’s self. In fact, many leadership problems are traced to low self-awareness. • • • Who are you at your best? Who are you under stress? How do you manage your emotions? How do you manage your energy? Assessment: How do we do it? – Certified Assessors: • Assessors are members of British Psychological Society (BPS) adhering to the ethical standards of test administration and interpretation. • Assessors are proficient in both Arabic and English Languages. • Assessors have accumulated assessment experience in various industries including SMEs. – Tools • Tools are valid and reliable. They have been reviewed and endorsed by industrial psychologists. • Tools are available in Arabic and English languages. • Tools are used by international organizations and governments. – Process: • Candidates will receive enough communication before they engage in the assessment process. • Each candidate will receive an individual feedback session and a written report. • Each candidate will produce an individualized development plan to be executed during the development program. • All process is strictly confidential and within the recommended practices of international standards of testing administration.
Sample Report
360 Degree Feedback Survey aims at reducing the gap between our selfperceptions and those of others. Competencies that are important for entrepreneurs'’ success will be selected in order to solicit feedback from others. Participants will receive individual feedback on their results and will use the information from this report during their coaching sessions and to craft their Individual Development Plan (IDP).
Coaching How? • • The Coach who will provide this service is the first Omani Associate Certified Coach though International Coaching Federation (ICF)- the largest professional network of coaches in the world. He was a board member in Oman Chapter for the years (2017 -2018). All participants will get access to an online portal that has videos, documents, and tests to help them explore and structure their coaching journey.
Training Leadership Essentials to Lead a Successful Business The purpose of this training is to make participants aware of essential leadership behaviors and attributes required to lead and manage their team effectively. It has elements of self discovery of values , beliefs and leadership styles and how to capitalize these to lead and motivate others to grow their business. The program, is consistent of 3 -half day workshops including pre- and post work. + An HR diagnostic exercise will be performed with every participant to assess people practices.

Programme Timeline • • Leadership Essentials Training will be delivered in 16 hours. Delivery will be made in 4 sessions ( 4 hours each Thursday). This plan is made to suite the convivence of busy SMEs owners. Consultations window will be opened for a one month period to give participants flexibility to select suitable timings for the sessions.
