Writing a riddle… The next job is to use your plan from Lesson 2 to help you write your riddle. • Use each section of your plan carefully to help you write your riddle. On the next page is a checklist that you can use to help you when you are writing.

You also need think remember everything you know about capital letters and full stops too! There is some writing paper saved on the blog for you to use if you wish to. Alternatively, write on any paper you have at home.

If you look under a rock you might find me there! How tiny I am! Some people call me a ‘Grandad’ or ‘Piggy’ What am I? Clues get more specific as the riddle goes on. Ends with a question to ask the reader to solve the riddle!
