Inexplicable • (adj) incapable of being accounted for • Synonyms: unexplainable, incomprehensible, enigmatic • Example: The creation of the Earth is inexplicable
Noncommittal • (adj) not committing oneself • Synonyms: indefinite, vague, equivocal • Example: The senator gave us a noncommittal answer
Proboscis • (n) a nose • Synonyms: trunk, snout, beak • Example: The proboscis of the elephant grabbed the peanut
Quixotic • (adj) extravagantly chivalrous • Synonyms: fanciful, fantastic, imaginary • Example: She is a quixotic mixture of illusion and reality
