PERFECT TENSES IN ENGLISH Present perfect tense s+has/have+v 3 (action that happened at an indefinite time in the past) Ex: Bara has traveled around the world (action that happened more than once in the past) Ex: George has seen this movie three times (action that began in the past and is still occurring in the present) Ex: Antony has lived in the same house since 2000 v Present perfect continuous s+has/have+been+ving (the same rules of present perfect “action that began in the past and is still occurring in the present”) Ex: Antony has been living in the same house since 2000
