The Assignment • By the end of the week, you will be able to complete all the reading stages for Chapter 4. 1 (Honors 4. 1 and 4. 2) of your Earth Science book. • You will hand in a copy of all the activities you completed for all the stages of reading. In other words, you are SHOWING how you read a text book. • Assignment is worth 100 pts. or 25 pts. per stage. • Due at the end of class on Thursday, Sept. 30

Write down what you think the chapter will be about. Use a complete sentence such as - From scanning the text, I think this chapter will be about. . . • Write about where and when you have heard about this key concept before. • Now write three statements of fact about this subject. • Finally, develop three to six questions you have about this subject.
