Engineering Design Scenario: Air-propelled vehicle • Design challenge: Air-propelled vehicle prototype for Tesla – Develop a small-scale prototype vehicle uses propulsion energy (i. e. balloon) that can travel at least 5 meters as well as stop at exactly 1 meter. Performance, economic, environmental and social aspects will all play a key role in your overall assessment. • There are two deliverables for this workshop: – Submit a proposal for your project, that will need to be approved (10 minutes) – Build/test your prototype, and reflect upon your design, to present to Tesla (20 minutes)
