Comfort Zone – On the next slide, use the picture to use during a meeting to indicate where are they. You can use the annotation tool in most popular web applications such as Zoom. Have them either type their initials or place an X on the screen. This will get everyone to quickly tell you where they are and what issues need to be addressed. Who needs help.
How do we use this? – On the next slide, use the picture of the rope to use during the start of a meeting. It is a great way in times of change to set the tone for how we need to look at things. Usually when I do trainings, this has been a great tool for me. Was their responses, creative or destructive? A rope is neither amoral or moral. We decide how to use it. As a leader, use this to help them redirect towards the positive.

On the next slide is a stick puzzle. The red is the answer on the second slide. Again, another great tool to remind people how we need to see things from a different perspective. You must look at it from a different perspective. Upside down or if it was on a piece of paper, viewing from the other side. With this puzzle, and the rope question in the previous slide. Don’t do this every meeting. But once, to set a tone of how you want your culture to be moving forward.

Geno Wickman in his book “Traction” uses a model called the “Level 10 Meeting. ” Click the link to watch the video. Here, he talks about the IDS. Identify, Discuss and Solve. The next slide is just a way to Identify the issues. You can have the team members send in their issues, then you can type them on the next slide. The rocks are just bullet points. To help with time, have the team just place a number on each rock they feel is a priority. 1 for must important, 2 is next and so on. Then Identify, Discuss and Solve the issues in order. Stay on time and if you don’t get to all of them. Roll it into the next meeting.
