So much coal „Poland relies coal and it will not change” and as saying

So much coal „Poland relies coal and it will not change” and as saying goes, our economy is heavily dependent on coal, as previous chart has shown. There is progress towards newer methods of energy production, but compared to other countries it is slow and steady. Most of our coal is mined in Silesia, a region located in the south.

Central heating During Erasmus project in Poland along many other interesting places, we visited ECO Company, which is focused on distributing heat and energy to Opole, and by doing that decreasing unhealthy air pollution. It is most efficient and ecological way of heating households.

Nuclear? Although Poland had plans to build nuclear power plant, it was met with

Nuclear? Although Poland had plans to build nuclear power plant, it was met with too much public disaproval, especially after 2011 Fukushima nuclear accident. To this day, our country is one of the biggest countries in Europe to not have this kind of plant. There was nuclear power plant in construction, but plans had changed after reconstruction of goverment in 1989.
