Bibliography Management Systems such as: End. Note and Zotero assist you in creating a personal database of references which you can use and re-use for your scholarly work. You can also change the citation style easily from APA to MLA and hundreds of other styles. Noodlebib is an online citation builder which helps students create correct citations using APA, MLA, or Chicago formats. It is integrated with Google Docs and there are note-taking tools which link to the reference.

Accessing Bibliography Management Systems • The web version of Endnote is free to the RIT community through our Web of Science database subscription. We do not have Endnote software. Zotero is also free and easy to use. Noodlebib is a subscription based database so you must go through the library website to register for Noodlebib. • All of these systems are available through the Info. Guide section “Academic Integrity and Citation”

Guide • Getting started with Endnote-Registration from oncampus (off-campus option available). • Collect References from various databases, Summon, and Google Scholar Video demonstration • Choose a citation style Video demonstration • Other tutorials are available for organizing your citations, and registering for Endnote.
