Department manager to have 1 to 1 discussion with respective employees schedule on bi monthly basis. HR to coach and sit in with manager (with employee presence) to handle the employee during the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) session. Pointless to over-step into areas of expertise of others. • Poor performers should be dealt with using professional ways. • Clearer directions from top management and give credits to staff for their works and NOT TAKING ideas as their own Logistics • My last 2 years performance was graded a "C", in retrospective of the hard work and extreme long hours committed, and in comparison to a Manager with no direct reports. Yes, we do know the PA score, but that doesn't give us any knowledge on the eventual grading we will receive. Every Manager has their own yardstick, some overly lenient and v. v. Honestly I do not know what is the variance to be graded to secure the rightful range of increment and bonus grading for my members. Administration • Expectation and performance level assessed by each HOD is different.
