EMD Manager – Review EMD-A To complete the addition of EMD-A issuance with EMD Manager, it is also possible to review prior to void or refund the EMD-A. EMD Manager – Void an EMD-A Once the Review tab has been clicked, the details of the EMD and select Void can then be easily viewed. Select Details on the Review tab to see the details. Select Void and then ‘Yes’. Travelport Public

EMD Manager Auto Ticket Association EMD-A and some EMD-S previously required entry of a ticket number to complete the transaction. This meant that the correct ticket number had to be known then applied to the SVC or ASVC when issuing the EMD. The latest change ensures that EMD Manager matches the ASVC and SVC items to the correct ticket number for each passenger in the PNR/BF. The ticket number is shown with the ASVC or SVC when the EMD Manager is launched. Travelport Public
EMD-A Add Commission In order to reduce the need to use cryptic entries for adding commission to EMD-A ASVCs, an area within EMD Manager has been created to easily enter the required information. Commission entry is now included on the Edit screen for ASVCs. Travelport Smartpoint users are now able to enter commission percent or amount, as shown below. Travelport Public
Display and issue EMD-A EMD Manager has been further enhanced to be able to easily process EMD-A. This means no longer having to remember difficult formats or going outside of Travelport Smartpoint onto the carriers website to sell ancillaries or paid seats. EMD Manager now displays ASVC items and now has the ability to issue an EMD-A. This complements the previously released SVC display and EMD-S capability. ASVC items can be created easily using the existing Service Segment screens prior to launching EMD Manager. Travelport Public ASVCs Ready for EMD issuance are pre-selected on when EMD Manager is launched. Meaning an agent only has to click ‘Issue’ to complete EMD issuance.

Display and issue EMD-A (cont’d) The error Invalid Carrier override needs to be corrected before ‘Issue’ is selected again. Only unfulfilled services will display on screen. Clicking on ‘Issue’ will issue EMDs for all selected services. In addition, any errors are now highlighted in the ‘Message Bar’ at the top and on the service card. Travelport Public

Search for EMD services via ASK Travelport and My Travelport A tool is now available within ASK Travelport and My. Travelport which provides a way of searching for EMD (Electronic Miscellaneous Document) services. All that needs to be done is for the acronym ‘EMD’ and two-letter IATA airline code to be typed into the search field. This will then show a description of services, a country tab breakdown (showing which type of EMD services are offered in each country) and a tab listing any special instruction/notes from the airline. Booked PNR– add/modify seats via Seat ‘Review’ screen A new Seat Review screen has been introduced. The Seat Review screen will be displayed showing the price paid for the original seat and then the true price of the new seat and any payment that is due, or any amount to be refunded. The Review screen will advise on making a payment via an EMD (where applicable). This and can completed within the workflow by creating a Service Segment using the screens and using EMD Manager to issue the EMD. Alternatively, if the carrier requires direct payment for the modification, a payment screen will display. Clicking ‘Submit’ will send the seat request to the carrier.
