Solution • Aggregate channel sum in the FE Building primitive at FE Level. • Abandon the idea of a full granularity trigger. • But. . . Conclusion • A digitizer architecture with 2 range 12 bit ADC is proposed • The Push architecture (like Babar) seems expensive(too many links) • A Pull architecture with Sum in the FE boards to produce trigger primitives use less links.
