Embrapa Environment Priority research actions are at the interface between agricultural and forestry production, as well agricultural and forestry industry activities, and preservation and conservation requirements for environmental quality.
Embrapa Environment Themes are: • agri-environmental quality, focusing on monitoring and assessment of natural resources; • agri-environmental management for making productive process suitable to environmental requirements; and • agri-environmental policies with special attention to evaluating technological alternatives and making recommendations for public policies.
Embrapa Environment Ø reached ISO 9001: 2000 certification in 2005 and currently is working on the protocol ISO 17025 for some of its laboratories.
