Intro o A unique Human Rights forum where we discuss national and international standards of protection and implementation of Human Rights o The forum consists of coordinated ELSA events from all over ELSA network taking place the same day
A little bit of history • 1 st edition: 20 th March 2013 Countries involved: 30 Events organised: 144 – Focus Children Rights • 2 nd edition: 5 th March 2014 Countries involved: 29 Events organised: 173 – Focus HR on Internet • 3 rd edition: 26 th November 2014 Countries involved: 33 Events organised: 133 – Focus Social Responsibility • 4 th edition: 25 th November 2015 Countries involved: 32 Event organised: 143 – Focus Gender Equality

Where are we now 5 th Edition: National Coordinators in 35 countries -> bigger impact Numbers: Events specified for the 3 rd edition: 50 sth Events specified for the 4 th edition: 90 Events specified for the 5 th Edition: 126 (so far)
What to organise? • Legal education (traditional types of events), but there are no limitations and creativity is always welcomed! – Main topic HR, preferably on the year’s focus. • Show us your events and make an impact! videos, pictures etc. are more than welcome • Previous ELSA Day winners: 2 nd edition: Human Library 3 rd edition: Solidarity event 4 th edition: Short movies festival
