Ellie the elephant did not want to go to kindergarten. He was afraid. Going to school meant he won’t be home. It also meant new friends.
The morning of the first day of school ellie told his mom he did not want to go to school. His mother said don’t worry school is fun you will enjoy it. His mother walked Ellie to the bus stop. Ellie looked around there is a lot of people he as never seen before. Then the bus came. He gave his mom a hug and went into the bus.
The bus stopped Ellie looked out the window. He arrived at school. Ellie got of the bus and went to his classroom. He walked in and saw his teacher Mrs. Giraffe and all his class mates. Mrs. Giraffe showed Ellie to his seat very quit.
Then he heard someone say hi. Ellie looked around. Then he looked down and saw a mouse. Ellie was shocked at how short mouse is. Mouse said hi I'm mouse want me to show you around the classroom. Ellie said sure. So mouse said follow me. First mouse showed Ellie were circle time was and what you do. Then he showed the rest of the classroom to Ellie. Before Ellie knew it school was over.
Ellie went on the bus home. When he got home his mom asked how was school? Ellie said he loves school. His mom said he was very happy that he enjoyed school. Ellie said he can not wait to got to school tomorrow to see his new friend.
