Elkins Marching Band Fees Elkins Band Booster Club It costs $610 per student to fund the band program. *This does not include volunteer hours from our band families. Lots of savings are built into the plan with the assumptions parent volunteers help with props buildout, trailer buildout, chaperones, etc. Intent is to build a program competitive to our area.

Elkins Marching Band Fees Elkins Band Booster Club Band Fees $400: • Clinicians/master classes for marching & concert season • Entry fees for non-UIL competitive events such as other marching contests or spring festivals • Production costs for marching show such as choreography, props, supplies, etc. • Band shirt & show shirt for students • Smart music and Dot books • Maintenance/expenses for band trailers Color Guard Fees $400 & Winter Guard $400: • • Instruction fee – clinicians, technicians, etc. Show Costume & show shirt for students Winter Guard drill State Trip, transportation fee

Volunteer with Elkins Band & Color Guards Elkins Band Booster Club Band Families, we need you! Please consider volunteering your time and support the Elkins High School Band & Color Guard program. Your volunteer time will be backing a wonderful music program that encourages excellence from the students on the field, on the stage and in the academic classroom. The success of the program rely on volunteers like you! How can I help? � Summer Marching – Students are meeting new friends, learning new music and marching steps in preparation for the first football game. Booster club keeps it “cool” during the summer with popsicle treats, snow cones, fire truck, pizza, and other fun water activities. � Football games – Parents chaperones the football games, on field assistance (plumes and flip folders), refill ice, distribute tail gate dinners, uniform checks/storage, moving props and equipment. � Marching Competition – UIL Competition and surrounding school districts marching competition Parents help chaperone the bus ride, assist in moving percussion equipment, stand, props, and audio equipment on/off field. � Social Events – Fall Family Picnic, Summer Knight Celebration, Trunk-or-Treats, and Spring Banquet. � Fundraiser events – Fall Fundraiser, Spring Fundraiser, Spirit Nights, Corporate Sponsorships, and Family Sponsorships.

In order to keep our annual fees reasonable, participation is key!
