Facilitating the Discussion: Tips • Participant introductions and roles • Arrange the group for discussion (circles or small teams) • Encourage your attendees to use the activity guide (and all the resources) • Ask questions relative to participant expertise • Synthesize • Consider showing notes on a projector via a wiki
Continuing the Discussion After the event: – Set aside time for follow-up – Use the focus session recordings and readings for continued professional development – Ask people to share how their ideas might support planning
