To create the setting Describe the setting (time and place). � � Similes & Metaphors & Any other Figurative device Descriptive Language (sight, sound, smells, etc) The strong smell of coffee beans being roasted wafted on the early evening air while the click-clack of computer keys and the familiar “Ka-Ching” of the register awakened Sam’s senses. Even though his mind raced to figure out the mysterious emails from his unknown guardian angel, he still was keenly aware that the café was a living, public place filled with strangers all isolated in their own electronic spheres. If he was caught, the crowd wouldn’t help him. . but at least there would be video proof from the people in the corner who were taking non-stop selfies.
