Day 1 • Today you will be assigned one element from the Periodic Table

Day 1 • Today you will be assigned one element from the Periodic Table on which you will become an expert. • You will receive a short informational text about your element. • From the text you will be responsible for collecting the following information in your science binder: • Element Name • Element Symbol • Atomic Number • Atomic Mass • Element Classification • Period Number • Group Number • Group Name • Phase at Room Temperature • Who discovered the element • When the element was discovered • Uses for the element • An interesting fact about the element. • USE YOUR TIME WISELY! You only have 1 day in class to use the informational text.
