New Initiative - Biodiversity Transform Electronics City in to a major Ecological/ Bio-diversity Hub • Enhancement of greenery, supporting migratory birds Ø Protection of Trees • Benchmark with the best cities to develop a set of leading operational practices for the Township • Plan for long term water sustainability – Lake rejuvenation, water conservation and reuse • Sustainable energy management – increase share of renewable energy; encourage energy saving measures • Plan and develop biodiversity parks

New Initiative - Beautification Make Electronic City a Green and Aesthetically appealing Township • Develop Beautification and Greening plans – Engage an architect or town planner to draw out the plans and execute them Ø Well designed, pedestrian friendly Roads, Pavements, Crossings Ø Junction Improvements Ø Green cover both inside and outside campuses Ø Beautification in common spaces Ø Development of an aesthetic norm for the Township
