What is e. SRA? • Electronic Sponsored Research Administration system. • It will replace RAPID for proposals. • It provides system-to-system submission of applications to Grants. gov. 2 Office of Sponsored Projects & Industry Partnerships

SRA? • It will provide a tool for award and contract administration not currently available in RAPID, which is primarily a financial system. • Will integrate with FMS for financial management. • Will integrate with the Budget Planning System for proposal development. 3 Office of Sponsored Projects & Industry Partnerships

SRA? • LBNL purchased 4 modules from Huron for improved electronic processing. –IRB went live this spring –Grants • Phase I went live in June 2011 for NIH SF 424 applications • Completion scheduled for fiscal year 2012. –IACUC to go live spring 2012 –COI to follow IACUC 4 Office of Sponsored Projects & Industry Partnerships
