PROJECT ACTIVITY OVERVIEW � We serve the farmers of Ganganagar & Tonk District, Rajasthan • Population: 1, 421, 000 • One of the poorest districts in India In 2006 the Ministry of Panchayati Raj named Tonk one of the country‘s 250 most backwards districts. Most of the population depends on agriculture.

PROJECT ACTIVITY OVERVIEW � Our development 2003 and 2006: set up of 2 biomass power plants in Ganganagar and Tonk Ganganagar 2003 -2013 Mitigation of more than 330. 000 t CO 2! Tonk 2 nd CP 2015 today Mitigation of more than 57. 000 t CO 2! Tonk 1 st CP* 2008 -2015 Mitigation of more than 270. 000 t CO 2! 2 nd CP today-2022 275. 000 t CO 2 more! * Commitment period

SDG IMPACTS DELIVERED � This project delivers… Payment to farmers increases the income of the poorest. 7000 farmers and 35, 000 logistics workers get the chance to participate in this sector. Since beginning of the project a € 45 million business has been generated for the farmers by selling biomass to KPTL.
