The East of England has around 3. 3 million cars (total) driving around but only 1, 236 EV connectors 2. 4% (Oct ‘ 18) of new cars are EV so we get about 80, 000 EVs in EA (approx. ) About 65 cars for every connector! We need more chargers here in the East of England!

Ride-hailing company Uber will require all new drivers in London to use electric cars by 2019 and will transition its entire fleet no later than 2025 • What will you do as a building firm when your competitor can bid based on much lower plant machinery running costs? • What will you do as a taxi firm when your competitor can undercut you AND the customers prefer to travel in an electric taxi anyway? • What will you do as a delivery firm when your competitor can deliver right into a town centre low emission zone and you can’t? • What will you do as any company when your competitor is getting all the clients because your business doesn’t reflect your customers environmental attitudes?
