Remember: -do your best! -YOU CAN DO THIS! You do not need to purchase a copy of the book. I have provided the text via pdf as well as audio link. This week I only posted audio link for the chapters assigned. Each week I will continue to post the audio for the chapters assigned for those of you who are more of an auditory learner. You will need to go back into text at times to find answers or analyze quotes. -I will be available for questions – please use my school email address: abecker@summithill. org -The work for the week will be broken up with suggested pacing for each day. However, you are able to work on the assignments as it fits your schedule at home. I will continue to post the assignments for the month of April for the week by 8: 30 AM on Mondays. - Once you have submitted a formative, I will provide feedback to you.

Read the short article –Germany and WW II to build Historical Background (this will be slides 3 -4) 4. Then open the word document for this article and answer the questions, 5. Please remember names, write in complete sentences, and submit work. 6. View Greek and Latin ppt. Unit 15 Tuesday 4/7: 1. Review Greek and Latin ppt. 2. Complete Unit 15 WKS 3. Fill out Ch. 2 Organizer -submit Fri 4/10: NO SCHOOL (GOOD FRIDAY – SCHEDULED DAY OFF) Mon 4/13: NO SCHOOL (EASTER MONDAY – SCHEDULED DAY OFF)

My plan for student and parent/guardian communication I will utilize remind to send out general announcements regarding daily assignments. I will post ALL information regarding daily assignments by 8: 30 am each morning on my teacher page; all links and documents for assignments can be found in TEAMS under files and class materials but I will include them on my teacher page. (downloads section or cool links section) I will place all documents in O 365 Teams; these documents can be accessed by clicking on ‘FILES’ and click the folder “Class Materials” Students should download a copy first. I have also included the copies needed to complete assignments in drop box section which is under assignments. This is where a student can check to see if he/she has completed weekly formatives.

Remote learning can be overwhelming!! Please reach out to me with any questions or concerns. Students – please follow the schedule and submit your work. All work for 4/6 through 4/9 will need to be submitted no later than 4/14. Please contact me if this schedule does not work for your family…I will work with you to find a schedule that fits with you and your family. Work submissions will be recorded in Power. School with a grade. Work not submitted will be recorded as ‘missing’ in Power. School and I will reach out to parents/guardians to see if I can offer any additional assistance regarding submission of work.
