B. DEFINICION Y SUS IMPLICACIONES
La dolarizacion oficial completa ocurre cuando una moneda extranjera tiene status exclusivo o predominante como moneda de curso legal en determinado país. Esto significa que no solamente el sector privado la utiliza en la celebración de sus variados contratos sino que también el gobierno la usa en la realización de sus diversos pagos. Si la moneda local existe es confinada a un papel secundario como en el caso de su utilización en la forma de monedas acuñadas de valor reducido. COMISION MACK (Junio del 2000)
