The eight beatitudes are the set of teachings by Jesus and appear in the gospels of Matthew and Luke.
� Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. � Hallow are those who are open to change and know that they have done wrong but are willing to be a better person.
� Blessed are they who mourn, for they shall be comforted. � Happy are those who are able to accepts sorrows in life but can keep growing and being hopeful during sad situations.
� Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. � Godly are those who are submissive, for they shall be given the earth.
� Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied. � Divine are those who have high ideals, treat people justly and desire t have a relationship with God.
� Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. � Blissful are those who help others without looking for anything in return.
� Blessed are the pure of heart, for they shall see God. � Delighted are those who love from the heart within, for they shall have a relationship with God.
� Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God. � Gratified are those who make peace for they shall always be a child of God.
� Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. � Content are they who are persistent for the sake of righteousness, for they are invited to be a child of God.
