EET 109/3 Electronic Devices Course synopsis EET 109 provides a depth study on the concept of PN junction, operation and characteristics of the diode. The students will be emphasized to Half wave rectifiers, Full wave rectifiers, Power Supply Filter and Regulators, Clipper and Clamper Diode circuits and Voltage Multipliers. The students also will learn about the special-purpose of Zener diode in terms of its characteristics and applications. Bipolar Junction Transistors (BJTs) and various types of Field-Effect Transistor which are Junction Field-Effect Transistor (JFET) and the Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field-Effect Transistor (MOSFET) will be introduced in this course as well.
