Preconditions • SBCUSD submitted its Preconditions response • CTC feedback sent in July 2017 • To address concerns, work with CTC Consultants to address the per timeline given. 12
Program Assessment/Review • Final Preliminary Report of Findings for each Commission-approved program must be posted on the Accreditation Site Visit Web page. • The final Program Narrative for each Commission-approved program must be posted on the webpage. • 2 page Addendum may be developed for each program. This document would describe any modifications made since the Program Assessment • Develop Program Summary for each Commission-approved educator preparation program • Program Design • Course of Study • Assessment of Candidate Competence 13
Common Standards Submission and Review • No longer reliant on heavy narrative • Like Program Review, institutions will submit very specific evidence • Much of the evidence are documents that the institution has already • ONE review, followed by required addendum for site visit team – No more endless back and forth between Unit and CTC! 14
Site Visit • Year 6 • Verifies effective implementation • Review of Common Standards • Informed by Program Assessment/Program Review and Data Submission/Analysis • May result in more frequent visits at the COA’s discretion • 3 or 4 days 15
General Site Visit Schedule Day Monday Jan. 22 Activity Travel Day for the team. Arrive at SBCUSD around noon. Work at SBCUSD from 2 -5 pm. Program Coordinators should be available during day and visit. Mid Visit Report in the morning Tuesday Jan, 23 Complete Interviews Writing the report (pm) Head back to hotel between 5 and 7 pm Wednesday Jan. 24 Exit Report at either 11 am or 1 pm 16
