Launched in November 2017 Why do we have a foundation? • ETF is our gifts and grants portal, and provides fundraising services for Ed. TA and ITS • ETF’s objective is to ensure that no Ed. TA member fees or ITS induction fees are spent on charitable programs • To address the #1 challenge faced by theatre educators - lack of funding - ETF aspires to: ØStrengthen connections with theatre and entertainment industries, business and philanthropic leaders, and Thespian alumni ØBecome the international go-to source for funding school theatre, including direct grants to schools • As ETF grows, it can help chapters and troupes with investment management, endowments, donor-advised funds, and planned giving programs

New Troupe Charter Grants offer financial assistance to underserved Title I schools to create a Thespian troupe and become part of the International Thespian Society (ITS) • $500 charters a new Thespian troupe, pays dues, and inducts 10 students • Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS has committed $7, 500 annually for New Troupe Charter Grants

Galas: Broadway Back to School and Thespians Go Hollywood • NYC and LA events

Galas: Broadway Back to School and Thespians Go Hollywood • NYC and LA events to raise money to benefit underserved schools • Cabaret performances featuring Broadway and Hollywood stars and student Thespians • Builds stature for Ed. TA and ITS and increases our engagement with theatrical and entertainment industries
