Working with competences Academic year = 4 periods n Every period (10 weeks) has a main theme, e. g. “ Healthy mouth“ n The theme influences work with main competences (research, written report) n Other competences will be worked on, too as students will also be tretaing patients (treatment, communication) n

Reflection period 3 At the beginning of period 3 we had a lot of patient treatment. I enjoyed working individually. I think that my communication skills have improved in this period. Working with cuerettes I found very difficult. I did not always know when to use which curette. In this period we also. .
POP Competence 1, Treatment 14 April 2005 Period 4 I find it difficult to work with different curettes. I want to be able to clean each quadrant with different curettes. During period 4, I want to spend 1 hour a week working on fantom heads with different curettes. At the end of period 4 I will show my fellow students skills and ask them to give me feedback.
