Technology Pick Up Friday, August 27 th ● ● ● PRE K and Kinder: 9: 00 am to 10: 00 am 1 st and 2 nd Grade: 10: 00 am to 11: 00 am 3 rd and 4 th Grade: 12: 00 pm to 1: 00 pm 5 th and 6 th Grade: 1: 00 pm to 2: 00 pm 7 th and 8 th Grade: 2: 00 pm to 3: 00 pm Walk-ups or Late Pickup: 3: 00 pm - 5: 00 p. m. ❖ If you can not pick up tomorrow, you may pick up between 1: 00 -4: 00 PM on September 4 th. ❖ You may delegate an adult that you trust to pick up your child’s technology. ❖ You will sign the Technology Usage Agreement for the equipment via scan with your phone. Please know your child’s name, birthday, and Student ID. ❖ You may pick up for multiple children at any given time. ❖ Please remain in your vehicle during the distribution and a staff member will assist you.

Who will get devices: ● ● The District assigned devices based on completed student registration in Power. School. Only students that are registered in Power. School and that were not assigned a device last semester will receive a new device. ● ● New students that are not in Power. School will NOT receive a device on Friday, August 28 th. Students 3 rd grade and above that received a device last semester will NOT be receiving a new chromebook.

Hot Spots and Ear Buds Hot Spots ● If you did NOT receive a Hot Spot (Wifi) last semester, you will need to go online and request one through the District or request one on site: ● https: //records. dallasisd. org/Forms/Hot. Spot. Request. Laserfiche ● Once we receive the Hot Spot you will receive a call once it arrives. Earbuds ● Will not be in the distribution at this time.

What if I don’t get a device or need to exchange it: ● If you do NOT receive a device, you will provide the students name, grade level, parent contact and a request will be submitted to the District. ● If your device is damaged or not working correctly, you will provide the students name, grade level, parent contact and a request will be submitted to the District. ● On Friday, August 28 th there will be NO device exchanges. ● On Friday, August 28 th the only devices that will be assigned will be to current enrolled Mata students that did not receive a device last semester and who the District has assigned a device to.

Sample Schedules

Other Important Notes: We will continue with the pacing and order of presenting lessons to students based on the Montessori Principles. Consumables and Montessori resources will be provided to various grade levels. We will schedule another date for distribution once materials arrive. Individual conferences may be scheduled by contacting the teacher. Teaching will be the responsibility of the Montessori guide. They will pull small groups as necessary in order to continue to differentiate learning.

Dual Language, TAG, and Sped We will continue to service all of our special populations. Dual Language - Teachers will maintain instruction in both languages depending on the grade level and subject. TAG - Students will have regularly scheduled TAG Sessions. Special Education and Dyslexia - Students will receive their service minutes remotely and Case managers will provide support. Testing for all programs will resume. Depending on the test, there will be times where students may be scheduled to come to campus.
