Government • • Ecuador's government is a republic government. Republic is a type of government that the head of the government is not have a king or queen in charge. The leader right now is President Rafael Correa. Their leaders are chosen by popular vote for a 4 year term.

Climate • • • The climate depends on the region. The low lands are usually hot and humid The sierra is usually cool, ranging from 35º F to 75º F The coast climate is moderated by the Humbolt Current, ranging from 65º F to 90º F The evenings are cold and chilly and the mountains are snow capped.
