Hayabusa K 2 -K 7 ECU Interfaces • Two types – Gauge data only – Gauge data and programming interface • Based on FTDI TTL 232 R 5. 0 V cable which supports the special baud rate for gauge data. Can be bought from (www. ftdichip. com) • For programming interface an additional 4 connector switch is required

K, rev 1, 4. 5. 2008 This interface is based on using USB to RS 232 TTL converter using one ON-OFF-ON switch with 4 separate contacts. Gauge data Green black wire (pin 33) ECU connector Switch Rx. D pin 30 Tx. D pin 29 FWE pin 48 MD 1 pin 14 GND Black. White wire (Pin 54) Optional LED with 220 Ohm resistor can be connected between these Red/Black pins to indicate non programming state when laptop is connected. The Tx. D, Rx. D, FWE and MD 1 are connected to ECU harness connector to empty slots. The Gauge data and GND must be connected to wires that are already connected to ECU.
