P (March 2015) Feedback and input from W Cape and from ECDI Stakeholder Engagement Forum meeting (March 2015) ECD Quality Action Group collated all inputs to get to ECD Quality Toolkit Draft 1
PURPOSE STATEMENT The purpose of the ECD Quality Reflection tool is to help practitioners (including care-givers, trainers and other stakeholders) think about quality in ECD, in terms of: How quality is made up of different aspects How these aspects look different in different contexts How thinking about quality can support good practices. 2 Components in the Toolkit: q REFLECTION TOOL q PROCESS GUIDELINES This process is aimed at helping the sector answer the question “What is quality ECD provision in practice? ”
