Kindle Checkout • If available, patron notified within 24 hours • 7 week loan period – renewals possible • Kindle held for patron behind circulation desk • Kindles circulated in preservation box! • Periodical Kindle DX with 4 hour loan

Kindle purchases • • • About half fiction and half non-fiction Fulfills browsing collection need 60%+ not owned in other formats 20%+ checked out 650 purchased titles (around 400 individual titles) • Average price per title = $10

Kindle management • One purchased title per 6 units • Titles are purchased by ADS staff nightly • 6 separate Amazon Accounts
