Japan • Japan is an Archipelago or group of islands • Japan is located on the infamous “Ring of Fire” • Japan’s location and physical features contribute to its temperate climate
Japan • Due to the potential for natural diasters (volcanoes, earthquakes, and tsunamis), the Japanese have a strict building code and practice yearly disaster drills. • In the last decade Japan has been the vicitim of several deadly natural diasters.
