NDIA PMSC 31 January 2006 San Diego, CA Earned Value Management System Acceptance: Goals and Objectives ● Develop a methodology for System Acceptance that will: Ø Complement and/or replace the existing DCMA methodology Ø Meet the system acceptance or certification requirements of all stakeholders (government agencies, DCMA, industry) Ø Provide a standard methodology regardless of the organization conducting the acceptance review (i. e. , government agency, 3 rd party, or self-evaluation)

Who is going to enforce? • Concerns about the number of documents submitted with proposal as evidence of compliance (EVM System Owner Responsibilities) • Concerns about the EVM Executive Agent Responsibilities with regard to approving the System Owner’s EVMS changes • The Compliance Evaluation Team qualifications (Appendix A) is the wrong version.
