Business Problem The State of Arizona’s Early Childhood infrastructure is limited by an under-developed

Business Problem The State of Arizona’s Early Childhood infrastructure is limited by an under-developed early childhood workforce and systems that do not support preschool programs in High Need Communities (HNC). Currently, HNC preschool children information (data) is not integrated with the States’ K-12 data. Integrating preschool data with K-12 data will significantly enhance the ability of administrators, educators and specialists to track progress of early childhood HNC students and recommend policies to improve future performance of these students.

Proposed Business Solution ADE I. T. will provide IT services, applications development and systems integration to enable the following solution components: AZDash Integration: Integrate existing preschool student data into ADE Agency Operational Data Store Profiles: Collect characteristics for preschool providers, teachers and students Fiscal Monitoring: Provided by existing Grants Management System External Interactions: Automate data collection from certain external applications Internal Interactions: Integration with ADE internal applications and services

Net front end • Extensions to the existing Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform for profile management and change request based work flows • Modification of existing Agency developed AZDash Reports • Batch Load GOLD data into ADE Agency ODS • Event Management System (EMS) to view and register for ECM related events
