INTRODUCTION Eagle application, along with the complementary utilities, web sites and web services, provides all the means for managing and speeding up a wide range of common tasks in most of departments of a Road Assistance Company. After almost 15 years of development, Eagle fully covers the following departments:
Front Office (Operations department, Call Center) Complementary utilities and web sites leveraged the functionality of Eagle Middle Office (Suppliers network, invoices, payments) Back Office (Accounting department, Marketing department)

Front Office • Keeps track of policy holder’s contract information with the following possible ways: – Data stored in the local database (SQL Server) – Data stored in external Microsoft Access databases (MDB files) – Data retrieved online on case opening by using Web Services of Insurance Companies • Handles a lot of different case types (Vehicle, Health, Travel, Home) • Can handle any case type through its modular design and its flexible systems that already has
Front Office Features • The Case screen is a modular system (Case Tab System), that according to a case type, features can be added or removed • For each case type a number of different Questionnaire forms (Dynamic Forms) can be added to a case. The IT department can easily : – Create and modify a dynamic form – Modify the Layout – Extend the functionality (because they are actually ASP. NET forms)
Middle Office Features 1 • Contracts Module – Premiums • Handles agreements with the Customers (Insurance Products, Terms, Unit Premium, Intermediaries, Commission rates) – Addendums: • Handles the invoicing of premiums and tracks their payment status – Commissions • Calculates commissions for intermediaries, issues invoices and tracks their payment status – Reserves • Manages the allocation of reserves in time periods (fortnights / months etc) – Bordereaux • Summarizes production from Brokers, issues invoices and calculates commissions
Middle Office Features 2 • Accounting Module (as far as Middle Office concerns) – Invoicing / Rebilling • Handles the creation of provider invoices and rebilling to the customers. Invoices can be entered manually or by using a set of tools designed especially for some product groups (e. g. Warranty, Peugeot, A la demand, ICFM) – Payments / Receipts • Payments and receipts to Providers, Customers, Policy Holders, Brokers (with Cash / Cheque / E-Banking) – Case Fees • A tool for reviewing and bulk setting up case or service fees – Reimbursements • Tracks the status of policy holders’ reimbursement requests – Reconciliations • A tool for clearing advance payments and pro forma provider invoices
Middle Office Features 3 • Accounting Module (as far as Middle Office concerns) – Intra-Company Rebilling • Internal rebilling to other fronting companies of AXA group – Credit Control • Displays the outstanding invoices and calculates the ageing based on payment rules, per supplier / customer – Chart of Accounts • Handles an internal chart of accounts per fronting company – Trial Balance • Provides the ability of creating custom trial balances and comparing their results with reports created by other accounting software (Local Accounting Software / ORACLE GL). – Account Balance Sheet • Displays the transactions (debits/credits) of an account

Automatic missioning (TSS) • Web site for the towing providers • The provider sees a new case when it is assigned to him by an IPA user • The provider can: – Assign the case to a track driver – Check the incident’s process (with the use of Mobile Road Assistant Coordinator) – Modify incident’s status (New / Transferred to Driver / Fulfilled / Cancelled / Completed) – Fill the services provided (Eagle gets the services automatically)
Mobile Road Assistant Coordinator • Mobile application that works with Android Smartphone (in Athens they use the Samsung S 4 zoom Phone/Camera) • Collaborates with the TSS • A driver can accept or decline an incident, the TSS is informed • Incident Status (New, Accept, Decline from driver, Decline from TSS, Arrived to incident, Taking Photos, Start of Towing, End of Towing, Incident Completed) • On every status change, date and time, latitude and longitude coordinates are kept
Mobile Application b. Call • App can be used by Policy Holder’s to call IPA for a towing • Works for Android & i. Phone smartphones • By pressing a button in the App, all the necessary information are transferred to IPA (car plate, car model, car color, policy holder name, contract number, latitude and longitude of the incident address) • IPA agents call back to confirm the incident, and open a case in Eagle
Brokers Management System (BMS) • Web site for brokers to issue contracts • There is also a Web Service that brokers can use to connect their systems • BMS Features: – Different levels of users (IPA / Agencies / Sub-agencies / Brokers) – Different Commissions to each level – Sibling Commissions – Connects with Eagle for Bordereaux – Increased Security on Contract Issuing: • Can lock a broker in issuing new contracts / renewals / cancelations / change of data • Locking on how many new contracts a broker can issue for a month

Eagle Mail Robot • Service Application that runs on a Server PC and watches for a specific email account (e. g. eagle@ipaistanbul. com) • For every email it receives that has an IPA reference number (for example 52 -13 -151613 -1 -52105 -6 -TR) in its subject: – Finds the appropriate case in Eagle – Creates a new document (Received email) in the document tab of this specific case – The text of the email and all attachments are saved and can be viewed
ERC utility • Utility to send data and photos to Insurance Companies – Command line utility that can be used with the schedule mechanism of Windows to execute on specific time periods – Can collect data and photos of new cases and send them to specific email addresses – The data to send can be set very easily by IT department
Cases Web Service • Web Service that returns information about cases – Can be used by Insurance Companies to retrieve information about cases opened to Eagle – Can return data and photos to the caller – Simple setup process for the data to return (in JSON format) – Has a login mechanism to ensure the caller gets the data that is valid for – The caller can request to get only the new cases – The photos can be returned in thumbnail or original size
Accident care / Medical Web Site • Informs insurance companies with Eagle data live flow – View photos of an accident/ medical incident – View case detail / Dynamic forms information – Providers upload photos of the accident
Supplementary web sites & Solutions • Warranty web site which supports warranty product – Car extension warranty (Additions to Eagle & Web Site) • Claim’s management (Additional case tab & Web site) • E-Banking solution • SMS Agent (Automation of SMS messages)
