Eagle Times Eagle Pride, School Wide! SG S Veterans Honored at SGS Ceremony We celebrate Veterans Day to honor veterans who have served in the U. S military. On November 7 th, veterans visited SGS. Veterans watched students from different grades perform in their honor. After the 6 th grade students performed sign language to the song “Hero In This Place”, the veterans announced their names, what branch of the military they served, how long they served, and what year they retired. Many students and teachers proudly had loved ones who were veterans that came to SGS. We would like to thank Mrs. Lisa Montgomery for her leadership in the ceremony and lots of gratitude to those who served and visited us at SGS!
